I just got back from a 10 day trip to Vancouver and even though I felt like I had so many days to visit people and do things, it went by incredibly fast. I got to enjoy Sage’s 9th birthday with her (a few times), I got some good quality time in with Nana, saw my cousin and caught up with many friends. I also got some face to face Fortnite play in with Grayson and Taylor.
I got to spend a few visit with Nicki and Carolyn and all the family and also Paula. I would have liked to have seen more people but I also had to commit to a few days of work. I did squeeze in a few spinning classes too and introduced Carolyn to her first one!
With my birthday around the corner I even got some ice cream cake from Dairy Queen, a Billy Miner Pie from the Keg and a casual celebration a week early!
I flew through the US to get to Vancouver. I was in no rush and the flight was cheaper then if I flew direct... Plus I get the much needed miles and I was upgraded on both my United flights, so why not! I flew Toronto - Detroit - Chicago - Vancouver. This is actually pretty direct compared to my flight home which was Vancouver - Los Angeles - Denver - Toronto. All the flights went off without a hitch and I made it home safe and sound.
